Derek Raser

Derek is one of those models that we were unsure how best to use. His facial features are those of a Bel Ami model, but he has the body of a body builder and is quite muscular. On the one hand, he’s a nice and reliable boy. On the other hand, there’s something stiff and unyielding in him. Perhaps he just needs some more time to relax. Viewers more or less like Derek, but it’s this mixed reception that leave me deliberating as to what to do with him. Whatever the case, we’ll continue to work with him this year. He’s currently on an exclusive contract. I think this is a model that will have a fruitful career with Bel Ami, even if it isn’t very long. Since retiring from in front of the camera, Derek has become a very talented editor, and may of the scenes you are watching on the web now are edited by him. Rick Lautner

We were worried about Rick at the start. Not to suggest that he’s the source of our troubles. Rick is great and a reliable model, but his casting session was met with mixed reviews. As sometimes happens the attraction has grown between our fans abd Rick, and he even now has his own Rick’s X-Factor thread in our forum. Rick is a smart guy and comes from a relatively affluent family. He studied English literature at university, which also means that his English is, on the whole, quite fluent. I have to admit that his motivation to shoot Bel Ami was never 100% clear to me. Obviously, most boys need to earn some money, but Rick could have asked his parents for support. Instead, he decided to work for us. And I certainly consider him an asset. So far, he’s primarily been a Top and I’m looking forward to seeing his rating rise in the future. Rick arrived with his soccer buddy, Jacob Salinger. When Jacob, who I thought would be an excellent addition to our Kinky Angels series, fell in love after five episodes and left, Rick stayed behind. While they were both still at Bel Ami, they lived together. So, you’ll also see all five of the episodes we shot with Jacob as well. Mick Lovell

Mick was the first American we signed as an exclusive model, and the 2nd that we featured on the site. In a bit of a baptism by fire, one of his first experiences with us was on our March trip to Australia where we did a little filming and attended the Sydney GLBT Mardi Gras. Since then Mick travelled over to Europe several times filming and we were very pleased with how it is working out. In the end Mick certainly can be counted amongst the ranks of BelAmi superstars.
