Like so many guys who loved sports in college, but weren’t quite good enough for the major leagues, I pursued a vocation in sports medicine and physical therapy. Given my personal proclivities, I marketed my services to teams where I could get younger male patients. I just thought the ‘scenery’ would be pleasant. Sure, there’s no shortage of ways for an interested guy to hook up with other men, but that leaves open the possibility that someone might find out. Even if being gay is okay, they still don’t want people getting the wrong idea.
